Jisto (at ages 26, 28, and 30) relates many happenings on Vela and as Irja (at ages 25, 27, and 29) replies with supporting messages, but events transpire that could have serious ramifications to both planets.

Each transmission is roughly 1 year apart, resulting in two years aging for both Irja and Jisto between their transmissions.
