Jesus Christ, the King of King and Lord of Lords, Creator of the heavens and the earth, almighty God came to the earth in the most humble circumstances. Born in a cave with the animals, a vulnerable, innocent child, His bed was an animal’s feeding trough.

Have you every wondered why Jesus came into the world the way He did? Why was He born in a manger? Why the swaddling clothes? How did the shepherds know it was Him? 

As we celebrate Christmas, let’s not only remember the baby Jesus born in Bethlehem. Let’s remember that Jesus was born to die for you, for me, and for all mankind.
