Welcome to episode 11 of The Bitcoin Game, I'm Rob Mitchell.
It's great to live in a big city such as Los Angeles because of the opportunity to network with people doing amazing things in the Bitcoin space. While Paul Puey founded Airbitz from San Diego, he still has managed to attend enough Los Angeles Bitcoin meetups that he seems like a local. In January of this year, Airbitz was selected by Plug and Play to take part in their Startup Camp Accelerator in Silicon Valley. Paul still had no problem trekking back to another Los Angeles Bitcoin Meetup, this time to present a compelling view of Bitcoin's place in the future of mobile payments. Paul also talks about the Airbitz mobile wallet, an app for Android and iOS that is aimed squarely at making Bitcoin as easy to use for mobile payments as possible.
