The grotesque murder of a young Hollywood hopeful became front page news in 1947.  To this day, it remains to be one of L.A.'s oldest and most infamous cold cases, and definitely one of the most disturbing.  The brutal murder of Elizabeth Short, better known as the Black Dahlia, still has not been solved...the horrific story of a young life taken too soon and a killer that got away with it.
