After the heavy hitter of last weeks episode, Shaun provides us with a little palate cleanser and tells us about the relatively modern phenomena of Black Eyed Kids or BEKs.
Black Eye Kids or BEK’s as they are sometimes referred to, stem from various reports of children aged between 6-16 years old with completely blacked out eyes - no pupils, no iris - just glassy black.
Encounters have been reported occurring at someone’s home or car. The BEKs will knock on the door before then insisting upon being let inside, saying they’re cold and lost and need to use the phone. Others have been reported as wandering the roads late at night, attempting to flag down hitchhikers.
Anyone who encounters them almost immediately begins to feel an overwhelming sense of dread, which only increases the longer they remain in the BEK’s presence. Besides their glassy, blacked-out eyes, their clothing is usually a little outdated and they speak as if from the previous generation and have been reported as saying odd things.
Generally, though, they just look like normal children or young teenagers.
Join us a we tell you of four reported encounters with BEKs and try and figure out what they actually are.
