Killed Off

The Blackout That Changed A New York Neighborhood Forever

Listen Later

In the summer of 1959, a power outage hit a quiet suburban block in the town of Glenridge, New York. At first, it just seemed like a typical blackout. Within hours, neighbors were accusing each other of sabotage, people were chased, some were even attacked. And by the end of the night, one man was lying dead in the street. And the worst part? There was no storm. No downed power lines. No reason for the outage at all. Except for one terrifying possibility...that someone on that street wasn't who they said they were.

Welcome to Killed Off, where I, Darek Weber, retell stories from our favorite horror films and tv series as if they happened in real life and present them in a true crime case file fashion. Follow along and see if you can recognize the source of the case files before I reveal it at the end.
