Many people seek God because they want Him to change their circumstances, answer their prayers, provide financial blessings, or open doors of opportunity. There is nothing wrong with bringing our needs before the Lord. However, our relationship with God must be about more than what He can give us. It is about knowing Him, trusting Him, and loving Him for who He is.

To be sanctified means to be set apart for God. Through Jesus, we are no longer defined by our past failures, our shame, or our sinful habits. We belong to Him! This does not mean we will never struggle or fall short. It means we now have a new identity and a new purpose: to live in a way that honors the One who gave His life for us.
