great story!

I read this book years ago and listening to the audio version was just as great!

Jude Deveraux is wonderful!

I think I'll read every book that Jude Deveraux writes! She has so many fresh ideas and puts them out there in perfect form!

disappointed with the author

This could have been a fantastic story unfortunately the author decided to throw in homosexuality into the book, not everybody wants to read that type of garbage I have enjoyed this author in the past. If she continues to throw this junk into her writing she will be taking off my reading list. I understand there are some people in this world that that does not offend however there are also some of us in this world that don't want to read or hear that type of garbage. Please keep this out of your books or advertise that this will be in the books so that we don't have to return.

Slow but good ending

This started out very slow. I considered stopping several times. But about half way thru it picked up and the last few chapters turned it around.

Love it

This is an easy listen. Great story even if a little predictable. Now I want to hear about Max as a grown up!
