Abraham was given a seven-fold blessing proclamation when God called him. God knew that Abraham alone, could not succeed, he needed help. The blessing was a promise of provision. This was God's assurance that He would be a more than enough God and would provide for Him.

The provision was for Abraham's family and future generations.
