The first part of this Psalm reveals to us the depth of Christ's experience as he approaches Calvary, and His death on the cross. We see in this the foundation of our salvation and the building of His kingdom. The second half of this Psalm -from v25- looks forward to the future, prophesying the spread of His reign far and wide beyond our own day, including to a people 'that shall be born.'
