A Hope for A Cure Podcast

The Blount's - Carrying Their Legacy Forward (Part 1)

Listen Later

In this inaugural episode of A Hope for a Cure Podcast, a pediatric cancer advocacy and storytelling podcast, we open a new space created to honor families impacted by pediatric cancer, families currently in treatment, families living in survivorship, and families carrying the profound loss of a child.

We are deeply honored that our very first episode features Jordan and Dajia Blount, parents of two superheroes, Gavin and Bryson, who passed away from pediatric cancer just ten months apart.

In this powerful family story, Jordan and Dajia share their journey through childhood cancer, grief, and loss, and how they continue to honor their sons’ legacy with intention, remembrance, and purpose. Their voices reflect the lived experiences of so many families navigating pediatric cancer, offering connection, understanding, and hope.

This episode is part of A Hope for a Cure, a podcast focused on pediatric cancer awareness, family advocacy, and honoring the lives and legacies of children affected by cancer.
