Dr. Monique Beedles is an experienced company director with more than 20 years of board experience. Monique is a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and the author of Asset Management for Directors, published by AICD. Monique is currently a Non-Executive Director of the Asset Management Council, Queensland Division Director of the Asset Institute, and an Industry Fellow in the QUT School of Management, where she earned her Ph.D. in Strategy. She established her strategy consulting practice, Teak Yew, in 2004. She is a Certified Asset Management Assessor and has extensive experience with strategic asset management in industries, including mining, rail, ports, utilities, and defense.
