Bratati and Mayukh are a couple settled in the United States. Sayan is a research scholar, a hardcore academic and a lecturer of English at the Yonphula Centenary College, Bhutan. While Bratati and Mayukh have had their growing up at different parts of India, their connection to Bengal never ceased to exist. On the other hand, Sayan, born and brought up in the city of joy has Calcutta in every beat of his heart.

While the three of them stay away from their "home", nothing could diminish or question their Bangaliana. 

The Bongs here and there is a Saturday evening "adda" of 3 Bengali friends (often joined by some more friends and friends of friends) over a glass of run-n-coke. They take walks along their ideas of Bangaliana, Bengali cinema, music, food, history, art and a lot of other stuff. They talk about life in general and life in specific, about things they miss and things they don't, staying so far away from their "homes".
