On the way to the temple, Peter and John encounter a man who has never walked—a beggar, lame since birth, sitting in quiet hope for something, anything. But what he receives is far greater than he could have imagined.

With compassion and unwavering faith, Peter speaks: “In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth… get up and walk.”

In an instant, everything changes.

Strength fills the man’s legs for the very first time. He rises—then walks—then runs, leaping through the temple courts, praising God with a joy that cannot be contained.

The moment draws a crowd, and Peter seizes it, boldly sharing the testimony of Jesus. Lives are touched. Hearts are stirred.

But not everyone welcomes the message.

Before long, Peter and John are arrested and brought before the high council. Yet even in the face of opposition, the truth has already taken root.

Because that day, the number of believers grows to five thousand.

What begins as a single act of healing becomes a powerful testament: faith cannot be silenced.
