After Jesus ascended into heaven, his twelve disciples, now called apostles set out on the mission of bringing the Gospel to everyone. The book of Acts tells the story of the early Church as it took the message of Jesus out of Jerusalem and to all the surrounding regions. This is the Book of Acts.
