Deuteronomy Chapter 13, Moses warns the Israelites that they are not to follow dreamers and prophets. He tells them that God will test them to see if they truly love Him. He tells them it is the Lord that they must always follow and obey. Moses says that dreamers and prophets have to be executed for inciting insurrection against God. The Israelites are told to purge all evil within their community.

Deuteronomy Chapter 14, Moses tells the Israelites that since they are the children of God, they are not to cut themselves or shave the front areas of their heads when someone dies. He said God has selected them, from all the other people, to be His most treasured possession. They are also instructed not to eat detestable things.
