In this episode, God is moving throughout chapter 6 of the book of Esther. Haman’s plan to have Mordecai killed is overturned when King Xerxes decides to reward Mordecai for saving his life. Haman becomes Mordecai’s footstool and is publicly humiliated in the streets. Although his family tries to console him and urges him to let it go, he is immediately whisked away to Queen Esther’s banquet.

Verse of the day:

Romans 5:3–4 – We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance, develop strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.
