In this chapter, Queen Esther reveals to King Xerxes that Haman has devised a wicked plan to destroy the Jews, courageously exposing that she herself is Jewish. As a result, Haman is impaled on the same seventy-five-foot pole he had prepared for Mordecai—the very man who once saved the king’s life.

Psalm 103:17-18 The love of the LORD remains forever with those who fear him. His salvation extends to the children’s children of those who are faithful to his covenant, of those who obey his commandments!
