Week 2 from the Book of Job

Points to remember when dealing with loss:
1. When it comes to words, sometimes less is more.
2. We experience loss and grief in stages, and often they don’t look the same.
3. Every loss is unique.
4. Be aware of the various phases or stages of grief:
Denial
Anger
Bargaining
Depression
Acceptance
Hope

What we learn from Job:
1. God is with us and for us even in the most difficult times.
2. We can be honest with God through our pain.
3. Bad things happen to good people.
4. There are things we will never be able to understand.
5. God will have the last word.
