Judgement and restoration are constant themes in the Bible. God sends us warnings so we can avoid His wrath. The Prophet Micah provides one of the most important prophecies related to Jesus Christ. He also correctly predicts the downfall of all of Israel by the Assyrians and the Babylonians with precision that could only be inspired by God.
