Too many people wish to think of God as purely a God of love. He would never be angry, much less would he even hurt a fly. As fluffy as such thinking is, it is not what God has revealed about himself in Scripture. Oh, yes, "God is love," alright (1 Jn 4:8, 16), but, he is also a God of wrath; wrath against sin, ungodliness, and unrighteousness. In this podcast, Dr. Paul begins to explain why the "gospel of God" (Rom 1:1) is so important by addressing what the Apostle Paul has to say about the natural man, who is hellbent on suppressing or hindering God's truth about himself. It is the "bad news" of the gospel, which turns into the "good news" of what God has done to atone for it.
