The return-to-office debate loves a simple story: more time in the office equals more connection. Our conversation with Jason Lauritsen continues and flips that assumption with a research-backed curveball from the 2026 Human Connection Study. In their data, non-management employees working fully on site show the highest levels of disconnection, while fully remote employees score as the most connected.
