Creating a budget before moving abroad is important—but your relocation budget is only one part of your financial plan.

If you've already decided to move abroad, there are bigger money questions to consider: Can you access your money when you need it? What happens if the exchange rate changes? Will your income continue after you relocate? How much of your money is actually liquid? What happens when inflation increases your cost of living? And most importantly—do you have enough money to change your mind and leave?
