Growing up in San Antonio, Texas, Josh didn't have high hopes for his future, he was expected to become a slave just like the rest of his family. One day josh enters a fighting ring, he finds out he can make a living off of boxing. We follow him as he goes through life and learns that he doesn't have to follow the discriminative stereotypes of black people of the time to achieve his dream.
