This week, we heard a message on John 6 and the crowd that was seeking out physical bread to eat while Jesus was trying to provide them with so much more. Jesus tells the crowd that he is the bread of life, that he is what will ultimately sustain them. We could either respond like the crowd, grumbling and walking away from Jesus. Or like Peter saying, “Lord, to whom shall we go? You have the words of eternal life.”
