Waiting Well

Psalm 27:14 "Wait on the Lord; be of good courage, and He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say on the Lord."

Joshua 21:43-45 "So the Lord gave to Israel all the land of which He had sworn to give to their fathers.. Not a word failed of any good thing which the Lord had spoken to the house of Israel. All come to pass."

The Happy Life- Psalm 128

True happiness is found in walking with God and living in His way.

Psalm 128:1 "Blessed is everyone who fears the Lord, who walks in His ways."

1.) Happiness begins with the fear of the Lord.

2.) God blesses faithful labor.

3.) God's blessing brings peace to the home.

4.) Joy grows as we live under God's blessing.

God's grace is often working most powerfully when His favor seems absent.

Psalm 73

1.) Grace doesn't always look like favor- Psalm 73:3

2.) Grace is found in God's presence- Psalm 73:17

3.) Grace is God's presence even when favor seems absent- Psalm 73:23-26

Grace isn't God saying "You've got this."

Grace is God saying "I've got you."

Psalm 73:26 (NKJV)- " My flesh and my heart fail; But God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

The Blessed Life- Psalm 1:1-6

The truly blessed life is found in walking with God and delighting in His word.

1.) Blessed people choose their company carefully.

2.) Blessed people delight in God's Word.

3.) Blessed people stay rooted.

The Connection (Be The Bridge)

1 Timothy 2:5

1.) There is only one God

2.) We needed a mediator

3.) Jesus is the perfect mediator

4.) The invitation is for everyone

5.) Jesus is the only connection

There's only one true God and His name is Jesus. We now have a bridge to God. There's equal access for everyone.

If you have the connection , become a connection for someone else. Jesus is the Bridge to God and to Heaven, We can be a Bridge to Jesus!

Happy Father's Day

John 14:8-9

If you want to know what the Father is like, Look at Jesus.

3.) Jesus reveals the Father's desire for relationship

Jesus doesn't just show us the way to Heaven- He shows us the heart of the Father.
