Libby McKnight is an actor born and raised in Pittsburgh. She fell in love with theatre while performing and training with Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera, Pittsburgh Musical Theatre, Point Park University, and Carnegie Mellon schools of Drama and Music. She currently lives in New York City, and this fall she will begin her final year of training at The Juilliard School, where next May she will receive her Masters in Fine Arts. Libby talked to us about the challenges of being a woman in the acting profession and why she prefers "actor" to "actress."
