Sara Innamorato, owner of Innamo Co. is the cofounder of She Runs Southwestern Pa., one of many organizations focused on getting more women to run for office. Pennsylvania ranks 40th when it comes to female representation in government.

She talked to us about why she decided to run for office.; she says both the results of the 2016 election and her father's struggle with opioid addiction are big motivators. Innamorato wants people to feel more connected to their elected officials, to know that someone is listening to their concerns.
