A microphone, a mixing board, two iPods set to YouTube, and a low-power FM transmitter. These are the tools used for ‘The Broadcast’ an experimental series by Jeffrey Adams. There is no plan, there is no script. There is only the impulse to move from one sound element to another, music to spoken word, stories to nonsense sounds. Mind and memory are played like a musical instrument, and all of it broadcast over the air. As you read this, the radio signals are still heading out into space from their origin on earth.
