He then talks with Tabitha Hale from Rare.US about the "pre-emptive" lawsuit filed by Robin Thicke against the Marvin Gaye estate.  They discuss music and intellectual property, and the differences between sampling and paying "homage" to a piece.

Then Andrew is joined by Nicolee Ambrose, Republican National Committeewoman from Maryland.  She updates the Broadside listeners about what went on at the RNC's summer meeting.  Did they solve the problem with the grassroots?  What's the deal with the anti-CNN and NBC resolution?  Nicolee also talks about the technological changes coming to the GOP.

Finally, Andrew talks about his decision to pursue the vacant State Senate seat in Maryland's 36th District!
