[Warning] This episode contains explicit language and explicit themes. Listener discretion is advised.
Taking a break from reviewing selected books, the literary comrades take a moment to reflect on the world of literature in 2017. Danny goes through the 'Amazon' Top 10 and the 'New York Times' Top 10. How do they compare? Whom is rating them? And how do these lists reflect the dynamic of contemporary literature? Not only an in-depth discussion, but we get a small view of The Tsar's underlying emotions as he expresses his sorrows with the passing of two of his most cherished authors. And don't worry, they make a few crass jokes along the way!
