The Broken Shelf 085: Monster Girl Doctor Volume Two

Origuchi-Sensei legitimately stuns Danny with his second follow about monster girl hijinks. Testing the boundaries of his setting, and really implementing an organic system of biology and society, the light novel author overhauled the balance of his world, and thereby tested the personality and drive of his central character. He also effectively weaved psychological themes regarding maturity, medicine, and family relations. Danny was thrilled with the passion displayed in every word and it shows in the review. There are still some negatives, and conversely, still themes readily attached to Origuchi-sensei's influences, but overall Danny had a blast reviewing and reading the book. He laughed, teared a little - cause that's how emotional he gets sometimes - and was challenged mentally by the psychology. How high from a dust collector did volume two of this light novel climb? Find out in a thrilling Broken Shelf review!
