The journey of Rudy Greyrat continues and Danny is full of excitement. This is his favorite light novel series and it shows in his overabundance of flare when talking about the plot, the new characters and the amazing development of the protagonist. Like no other light novel has our lead host found such a strong, relatable connection with and he covers it all. To Danny, Rudy is his prime protagonist, a fictional character that made him want to write his own novels with even a splinter of the connection he had with Rudy, and that evolution carries through strongly into the second novel. Not to mention one of the best tsundere's in Japanese fiction. Why does Danny have a strong connection to this narrative? Take a listen and embark on a new adventure in the grand-father of the new age isekai!
Tune in every Tuesday for a new episode of The Broken Shelf.
