In contemporary culture the biography is one of the most misrepresented genres in literature. How can we learn if we are not willing to listen and accept the stories of those that came before? Millions of come before us, probably billions, and some of the greatest voices have the greatest things to say. So why aren't we listening? What can the lost legends tell us about ourselves? Danny and Alex are here to discuss biographies and argue what the place of the genre is in society today. They talk about their favorite examples, what makes a good or bad biography, why the biography can be as good or better than many fiction books, and where the biography seems to be going. Join to historians as they debate the place of a lost medium and why it is important and will forever be important in literature.
