The last time this franchise made an appearance it was a battle. The brothers return for another duel in the light novel medium and by comparing and contrasting the product with its anime version as well as its previous novel they hope to elaborate on some of the issues as well as how the author and series grew. This time they don't have as much to discuss about the light novel as a literary foundation and so they focus more on the novel itself and how it functions as opposed to its first iteration. This does lead to some heated discussion, though, about plot and other variables. Danny goes on a massive rant about translation and Travis has a few quips of his own but overall this review is about what makes this franchise great and why, despite its numerous flaws, it is worth a read, or at the very least, a watch. Come join the brothers as they debate one of the most well received Japanese light novels on the market.
