When you stop to think about it trilogies are a weird thing. When did the concept of three novels to complete a larger story come in to being? It's something the majority of readers and movie goers accept as normal, and yet we continually accept some of the faults that trilogies bring with them. Regardless if they are one of the best in the game, even Brandon Sanderson can't escape some of the problems and Danny outlines a few in his review. He starts with the difficulties of "The Reckoners" franchise as a whole and how it was hard for him to be fair in his review. He then went into a summary and at the end of the review covers the franchise as a whole. As per usual, Danny had a lot to say and a lot of the negativity swimming through the review is based on the weakness of the characters and the problem with writing trilogies. Come hear what Danny has to say about a trilogy from one of his favorite authors, and why Danny has a hard time recommending this franchise to anyone.
