This episode starts off somberly with a talk about their futures. With his partner, Danny and Allen make a big announcement that will call in the final era of The Broken Shelf. It is said but they have a deep conversation about why and what it means for everyone. After a little calm they shift into something that is very important to them: writing. They have done it twice before to celebrate Danny's books but this time they are doing a lot of generalization and sharing of their thoughts about writing as a whole. They talk about their weaknesses and some of the goals and tips they have for each other and other listeners, or young writers. But still, while the episode is filled with laughs and constructive conversation, it is somber, and the duo just hopes you have a blast either way.
