He usually isn't one for top ten lists but Danny coaxed Spangar into making a list. As The Broken Shelf draws to a close, Spangar and Danny use the former's list of favorite books to talk about their journey and what reading has meant to the over the last six years. It is an interesting list that reflects his time as a host and critic on the podcast but also the power of nostalgia and his time reading outside of the podcast for his own entertainment. They break down why each book is where it is and why Spangar ranks them so highly. Overall, however, it is a fantastic discussion about the power of literature.
