Your favorite Yul Kids are back to bring you another exciting episode of the pod, this time covering the 1958 The Brothers Karamazov!
In Here's Looking at Yul, Kid two friends who have NEVER seen a movie starring Yul Brynner before watch (but ONLY watch) his entire filmography. They will not be LISTENING to Yul. They will not be READING subtitles conveying what Yul has said. They will ONLY be LOOKING at Yul (kid). And they will record an entire commentary track for each film as they do so.
This month, for the second month in a row, the boyz are joined by a guest! Taylor joins the podcast and brings with him the expert knowledge of owning a copy of the novel this film is based on. We all learn Russian, try to figure out if Yul Brynner's performances were inherently erotic, Phil does a trick with a Rubik's Cube that doesn't work in an audio only medium, Taylor tries to steal Googly's job, there is much debate about hair colors, and Drake reveals he doesn't know the difference between seminal American novelists and seminal American gangsters.
