An armed group of white militia men being led by Ammon Bundy — one of the sons of infamous Nevada rancher Cliven Bundy — are occupying a national wildlife refuge to protest federal land management policies. Participants of the occupation have stated that they are willing to kill and be killed if federal agents attempt to move them. This has lead many people to believe that the group has received favoritism because of the color of their skin.

We held a roundtable discussion on the what prompted the group to start their armed occupation, the government’s response and what would happen if this militia was made up of people of color.
