Since the early 1970's, there have been tales told at Twentynine Palms of a tall, blonde-ish, Bigfoot-like creature that has harassed Marines on guard duty, hikers, and campers in the Mojave Desert, but tales of the beast go back as far back as people have stepped into the desolate, beautiful desert region. How did the Yucca Man get its name? And what is it?
