Yes, I would. This series is very easy to become addicted to. Just like Little House on the Prairie touched the hearts of many, so will this series.
What did you like best about this story?
The love, values, and the pillar of the family. This series has so many genuine qualities.
Which character as performed by Susan Hanfield was your favorite?
Susan Hanfield does an outstanding job with both female, and male characters. Her quality to storytelling was real and believable.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes, and once you start the series you will understand why. Truthfully, the series is addicting. You will fall in love with all of the characters and want to keep reading/ listening to find out what is going on in the next book.
Any additional comments?
This is truly a series not to miss. Start with the first book in the series and fall in love with the Belk family.
Enjoyable, somewhat?
This story was a little too dark for me. More sadness than I care to get thru in my stories. Very detailed in the historical side however, I would most likely listen to another of this authors books.
Kind of predictable
I went to the end although I thought about giving up a few times. It's not the worst story I've listened to.
