Throwback: My first blog post, circa January 2012. I started writing a blog at the encouragement of my classmates in grad school. At the time, I was teaching full-time, had a few children still living at home, and was frustrated by the futility of cleaning my kitchen. Ten years later -- after a full decade of blogging, a change of career from teaching to communications, and the emptying of my nest -- the call of duty (and the kitchen of work) remain.
