The release of The Callisto Protocol has been cancelled in Japan. According to an announcement made via The Callisto Protocol Japanese Twitter account, the The Callisto Protocol was unable to secure an age rating from the Japanese Computer Entertainment Rating Organisation (CERO). Apparently CERO didn't agree with some content featured in The Callisto Protocol, with developer Striking Distance refusing to alter its vision.
