In this episode of The Cameron Brown Show, I met with Dustin Abney for a great chat about entrepreneurship and his experience in the short-term rental space.  Dustin is the CEO of Portoro, a branded, tech-enabled property management company for premium vacation rental homes in top-tier leisure destinations. With over 13 years of experience in the real estate and hospitality industry, he is a licensed Property Manager In Charge and a leader in short-term rental innovation and management.

Dustin's mission is to curate a select network of large, premium vacation homes that offer guests more consistency, quality, and service, as well as more diversity in experiences. He applies his expertise in new market openings, construction/renovations, design, supply chain, and asset management to ensure fast, quality, and scalable execution of Portoro's growth. Previously, he co-founded and led D. Alexander, a first-of-its-kind real estate fund and property management company, and served as AvantStay's VP of Homes division. He also contributed to Zillow Group's acquisition of Dotloop, a SaaS real estate transaction management solution, where he was a founding team member and VP of Customer Success. Dustin is passionate about creating innovative and impactful solutions for the real estate and hospitality sector.
