What’s the antidote to “senior slide?” At Montrose, it’s called the Capstone Project. Each Senior delves into a topic of her choosing, culminating in a 20-page paper and a 15-minute presentation. Associate Head of School Katie Elrod oversees the program, and celebrates each student’s success. Several of the members of the Class of 2019 talk about what it’s like to take on this culminating project of their Montrose education, with topics ranging from The Opioid Crisis to Technology’s Effect on Happiness to Concussions in the NFL.
