This week we present something special, particularly for those of us in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia: a show called "Support Local Music," where the primary focus is on music produced in the Vancouver area, featuring a small sample of local artists who are passionate about writing their own original material. You folks in other parts of the world will not have heard of very many of the artists presented here (such as La Chinga, Aviator Shades, TrailerHawk and HEAD), but here on the Wet Coast, they are very much loved and all have devoted followers. As Supe Man tells us, "Get off the couch and occupy a local venue"!
