Episode 7 of Season 2 is a real treat! Today we're interviewing Scott Templeton, a young man with a big future--he's just won a baseball scholarship to Newberry College in South Carolina, and he'll be pitching for them next fall!

We discuss with Scott how wanting to be 'a baseball man' when he was young has led to his devoting years to training, playing and preparing for his next steps--even to spending a summer training with his school football team... just so he could play baseball better! 

We especially loved Scott's appreciation for the men in his life--from his father to his coaches--who poured into him with their knowledge and skills--to make him the incredible young man he is today.

Our second (short) segment is a discussion of a brand-new book that Kelly just finished reading--THE LAST DAYS OF JOHN LENNON by James Patterson, which made a profound effect on her understanding of the man--and the band--whose short lifetime was almost over by the time she knew who they were. I'll definitely be reading this book!
