"Thirty-six years ago, I was fortunate enough to be surrounded by a group of artists called “Discovery Art Guild” (DAG). The group was led by my mentor — author, speaker and musician, John Fischer. We all met weekly to study how the Bible was relevant to the Arts. As a result of DAG’s support, I recorded Flying and This Is Not A Dream.

Surprisingly, these two recordings took off on a national level and received numerous awards. In 1977, I felt honored that Record World Magazine selected me as the top Contemporary Christian Artist of the year. Along with John Fischer, I was considered one of the pioneers of the early “Jesus Music” movement." - PMH
