Brenda Mtambo’s voice is undoubtedly one of the most powerful and soulful on the continent. The Umlazi-born and bred artist started belting out notes at the tender age of five and dedicated her teen years to choral music. Brenda formally kick-started her music career when she joined the multiaward winning gospel group “Joyous Celebration”, even writing and performing the track “Say More Jesus” on Joyous Celebration 14. Her catalogue includes working on projects, tours and DVD recordings with musical heavyweights such as Lira, Judith Sephuma and Brian Thusi to name a few.
